Who we are

Senedi is a school-management platform: a web app for schools (app.mysenedi.com) and a mobile app for parents, students and teachers. It is published by SENEDI - SARL, NAJAH B No 1354 A, Tevragh Zeina (TVZ), Nouakchott, Mauritania, NIF 01706738. The co-managers are Mohamed Ahmed Sidaty JIYED and Ahmedou Mohamed MHEIHAM.

Accounts are created by schools; there is no public sign-up.

Who is responsible for your data

• The school is responsible for the school records it enters. Senedi processes them on its behalf.
• SENEDI is responsible for the technical data of accounts, the website mysenedi.com and demo requests.

Children's data is entered by the school.

The data involved

• Identity: names, national ID number (NNI), birth date, gender, photo.
• Contact: phone, e-mail, address or map position.
• School records: enrolment, classes, timetable, attendance, absence notes, grades, report cards, remarks and discipline.
• Finance: invoices, payments, receipts, payment proofs and, for staff, payroll.
• Communication: messages, notifications and announcements.
• Technical data: sign-in history, devices, push tokens, logs.
• Demo-request form: the details you enter.

What it is used for

Only to run the service for the school: managing enrolment, school follow-up, payments and communication with families, securing accounts and answering your requests.

Senedi has no advertising, does not track its users for advertising and does not sell data.

Our providers

• Hetzner Online GmbH: servers, in Germany (European Union).
• Cloudflare: DNS, website delivery and encrypted file storage in Western Europe.
• Brevo: service e-mails, in France.
• Expo, with Apple and Google push services: mobile notifications.
• SMS or WhatsApp providers: only if a school enables them and the person consents.

Security

• HTTPS everywhere.
• Private file storage, reached through time-limited links.
• Two-step sign-in for school administrators.
• Access according to each person's role.
• Daily backups.

Retention

Data is kept while the school uses Senedi. When a school leaves, its data is exported for it and deleted within 90 days (backups expire within the same period). The activity log is kept for 2 years.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its processing. For school records, contact the school or [email protected]. You can request deletion of your account from the mobile app.

This policy relies on Mauritanian law n° 2017-020 of 22 July 2017 on personal data protection.

Cookies and storage

The apps keep your session in the browser storage. We use no advertising cookies.
